Titanique features a book co-written by its original stars, Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli, alongside director Tye Blue. The parody musical is choreographed by Ellenore Scott, with scenic design by Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Laubacher (for Iron Bloom), costumes by Alejo Vietti, and music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Nicholas Connell.

Synopsis

The show is a campy, irreverent musical comedy that parodies James Cameron’s 1997 blockbuster film Titanic. The narrative kicks off when pop icon Céline Dion hijacks a Titanic museum tour and enchants the audience with her totally fabricated, wildly unhinged version of what actually happened to Jack and Rose on the Ship of Dreams. Jack and Rose's tragic romance is completely upended and transformed into a fast-paced, queer-coded farce. The entire production is a high-energy jukebox musical powered exclusively by Dion’s iconic discography, including hits like "My Heart Will Go On," "All By Myself," and "To Love You More."

Production History & Cast Highlights

Titanique held its world premiere Off-Broadway at Asylum Theatre in June 2022 before transferring to the Daryl Roth Theatre later that year. The show became a massive critical and commercial smash, winning the 2023 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical and the 2025 Olivier Award for Best New Comedy during its London West End run.

Following its multi-year Off-Broadway success, the production officially made its highly anticipated Broadway debut in March 2026 for a limited engagement at the St. James Theatre. The star-studded 2026 Broadway cast includes:

• Marla Mindelle & Constantine Rousouli: Reprising their breakout, award-winning roles as Céline Dion and Jack Dawson.

• Jim Parsons: The Emmy Award winner stars as Rose's overbearing mother, Ruth DeWitt Bukater.

• Melissa Barrera: The In the Heights star makes her Broadway debut as Rose DeWitt Bukater.

• Deborah Cox: The Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee portrays the Unsinkable Molly Brown.

• Layton Williams & Frankie Grande: Williams makes his Broadway debut as The Iceberg (reprising his Olivier-winning West End role), while Grande returns as Victor Garber.
